JP's Awesome Country Gravey

  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 12 oz. Hot/Spicey Breakfast Sausage [Jimmy Dean or ?]
  • 2 heaping tbsp flour
  • 2.5+ cups whipping cream
  • Pepper to taste
  • Water to desired consistency


Fry up the 1 lb. bacon until crispy. Drain bacon on paper towl and set aside. Crumble the hot breakfast sausage into the bacon grease, and cook until done. Sprinkle the flour into hot grease /sausage mixture, stirring with a fork to break up the lumps.

Pepper liberally. When flour looks browned; whisk in the 2-1/2 + cups of whipping cream. Continue whisking until the gravey warms up sufficiently. Add water if desired to dilute consistency.

Serve with freshly backed bisquits . . . m - m - m
