Pete's Mocha Macadamian Nut Brownies

  • 2 cups finely ground graham crackers
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped unsalted Macadamian nuts
  • 4 heaping tsp. instant coffee
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1-1/3 cups sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 6 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp. powdered sugar (optional)


Preheat oven to 350°. Mix the graham crackers, instant coffee, vanilla, milk, and salt together until well blended. In separate bowl, mix the nuts and chocolate chips together. Stir nuts/chocolate into the wet mixture, but leave clumpy. Pour into 8” greased square pan. Bake 25-30 minutes. Cut into 2” squares while still warm and remove from pan to cool. (Optional: when cool, sift powdered suger over brownies.)

Note:
Important to remove from pan while still warm . . . or they get extremely glued down.

Temp: 350°
Bake Time: 25-30 min.
