We took the Amtrak to New York City from a tinsy winsy train station in Amsterdam. In only a few short hours, we were whisked away from the pristine countrysides of upper state New York to the heart of the "Big Apple". In 3 short days we experieced: The Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty, Macy's, FAO Schwartz, Central Park, Times Square, Staten Island via the Ferry, New York Pizza at Patsy's, "42nd Street" the Broadway Musical, and NBC studios. Of all the exciting locals we visited, the most interesting was probably our hotel room. I've never seen rooms so small in my life. The bathroom facilities was so tight, that Randy had to back out into the bedroom area to raise his arms enough to comb his hair . . . then he'd shuffle back up to the sink and check his progress.
